What’s the difference between composite bonding and porcelain veneers?
Composite bonding is minimally invasive with little or no tooth tissue removal at all; this preserves the health of the tooth. It is a much quicker procedure usually being performed in a single visit and therefore also a much cheaper option than porcelain veneers. Porcelain veneers however can be a better option in certain situations. Porcelain veneers need very little maintenance and often last longer than composite bonding.
Is composite bonding painful?
Absolutely not. Because there is little/no tooth preparation it can usually be performed without any anaesthetic at all.
