I had an appointment with Adam last Friday morning to have my wisdom tooth removed. He really took time to explain everything that was going to happen and make it clear I could stop at any point if I needed to. He checked in with me on how I was and gave me plenty of advice at the end of the appointment about how to take care of myself and avoid problems. Whilst I can't say that getting a wisdom tooth removed was fun, this was nowhere near as negative and scary as I was expecting it to be - because Adam was so meticulous with his care.

I recently completed my Invisalign treatment at Dental 22, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The entire process was smooth and professional, thanks to the amazing team. Adam was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, always ensuring I was comfortable and informed at each stage. Mrs Shackfords expertise and friendly demeanour made my appointment with her very pleasant. The care and precision they put into my treatment was evident from start to finish. I highly recommend Dental 22 to anyone considering Invisalign or any dental services. Thank you.

After a terrible experience with a more local dentist this place has blown me away. Great reception staff who helped me get a last minute appointment for an ongoing issue. The dentist I saw was a brilliant guy and sorted out the issue in such a quick and effective time. Hesitated going private but the cost is irrelevant when you're taken such good care of.

The staff are amazing very professional yet caring and understanding. I've had all my bottom teeth extracted after every attempt by dental 22 trying everything to prevent this happening. Staff go above and beyond to ease any discomfortduring treatment and minimilise a negative experience. Highly recommended this practice the dentists are highly skilled and genuinely nice people.

The service and results that were achieved by Adam at dental 22 were outstanding. I would recommend this dentist to everyone wanting to to improve and straighten there teeth, I’m so pleased with the end result.

Adam is simply the best dentist there is! Before I found dental 22, I had been to multiple dentists where I avoided treatments because I was scared!I instantly felt at ease with Adam, he knew exactly how to deal with my nerves and we actually laughed at how I was closer to falling asleep during a root canal than I was being scared 🤣 ..I’m about to start my Invisalign journey, after having multiple treatments, including two root canals, and a few fillings, and I cannot wait to see the results already!Definitely wouldn’t ever go anywhere else!5 star all round !

Well what can I say …After years of debating what to do with my teeth, Ranging from ‘Turkey Teeth’ to Invisalign to Compsite Bonding, I finally decided and went to see Dr Shackford on a recommendation.She did not disappoint! I just wish I saw her years ago!!I didn’t want to ruin my teeth or move them about, so I went with Composite Bonding.My smile now is amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. It’s exactly what I wanted to make my teeth look better!I’m a nervous patient in the chair but she put me at ease straight away with the help of Keeley.I walked out smiling and unable to stop myself!! I gave myself face ache from showing them off!! Hahaha!!Thank you so so much!!Pictures before and after, Whitening and Composite Bonding! (Not the best pictures but you can definitely see the difference!!)

Updated: I was disappointed recently after a scale and polish didn't have the results I hoped for, but I was unknowingly mistaken about what my issue was. Within a few hours of airing my grievances here I was contacted by the Dental 22 staff to make things right.I've just got back from an appointment to clear things up, which was given free of charge, and I'm very grateful for how things were handled. Alice, the hygienist I saw, was very patient and professional. She explained the actual problem well and told me my options, and now I know what's what!Overall, couldn’t have asked for a nicer team to deal with, and I'm glad I got this sorted. Much thanks to Adam and Alice especially.

I have followed Mrs shackford(my i say one of the Best dentist's i have ever used)from her old practice in Bawtry to Dental22. Very modern, and very ammodating/welcoming reception area, although the receptionist could be a little more friendly from time to time, but apart from that fantastic dental practice. Well done hope it stays this way!!!!

Just had a tooth extraction, Sam explained everything he was going to do and made me feel at ease. Have a phobia of dentist after a bad experience but would highly recommend Dental 22.

Dental 22 is my dentist in my home town of Retford, have messages from them when my check-up is due find the staff helpful and friendly, my credit overall of 100%, find everything clean and fresh

Chipped my front tooth over the weekend and going on holiday in 2 days. The team managed to get me seen very quickly and the dentist Emma did a fantastic job of filling it for me. Great service

Had a very awkward tooth extraction today but the dentist and his assistant was really good. So pleased I've been with this dentist for years very highly recommend this place

Haven't had a bad experience at dental 22 in all the years I've been going there. Today was probably the best experience to date, my 7 year old needed fillings and Lindsay and her assistant (didn't catch her name) were both fantastic at putting her at ease, they made it an enjoyable experience for her and were both so lovely with her. We were in and out in 20 mins and my daughter was smiling as we left.

Fantastic friendly staff,from the Dentists to the reception.Im Dental phobic,since 1950s school dentists seem to terrify all the kids!It never leaves your memory,fear ,apprehension.Everyone is so understanding and helpful.I have been with them 8 years since moving to East Retford.Marvellous Team.

I always have a good experience at this dentist. Staff are friendly and the dentist (Sam in this case) takes time to patiently explain things in detail and answer my questions. Good Covid19 measures in place too. Would definitely recommend these as a good practice.

Amazing dentists! I have seen Ruth and Sam on two separate occasions who were both friendly, professional and very good at their jobs. Friendly receptionists and Dental assistants too. Can’t wait to get on the NHS with this dentist as I am currently private with them. 5 out of 5 is completely warranted!

My daughter saw the dentist today can I just say that Jack was absolutely amazing with her she was very scared, but he totally made her feel at ease and explained everything he was going to do. Thankyou so much for making her experience of the dentist a friendly one dental appointments can be daunting. I know from personal experience, it very easy to be put off from visiting the dentist.Once again thankyou Jack would definatley recommend if you have anyone whose a little bit apprehensive about the dentist .
